As an assistant to the Sales Manager, you will proactively support and follow up on various tasks and operations.

Requirements
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in corporate sales or business development
Skills: Basic knowledge of drafting and reviewing contracts
PC Skills: PowerPoint / Excel (data analysis and graph creation)
Mindset: A “startup mentality” with the ability to independently organize and improve an underdeveloped environment
Preferred
Experience in the automotive industry (commercial vehicles, EV-related business, or parts)
Knowledge of non-life insurance and leasing schemes
Presentation material design skills

Candidates with experience in new car sales
Details
Compensation: Negotiable
Can be discussed based on experience and previous annual salary
Work Location: Tokyo (with possible short-term business trips to China)

Working Hours: 9:00–18:00

Commercial Vehicle Product Development

Responsibilities

Competitive Benchmark Analysis
Measure and analyze actual vehicle data on the latest models of four major domestic manufacturers, as well as EV trucks from other companies, focusing on driving performance, power efficiency, load capacity efficiency, and ease of body upfitting. -
Structural and Compliance Analysis
Identify structural issues relevant to Japan’s logistics environment, including Japan-specific body upfitting practices, maneuverability on narrow roads, and hill-climbing performance. -
Product Development and Improvement Promotion
Propose specification changes to the headquarters R&D team to better suit the Japanese market, such as V2X compatibility, charging port placement, and cabin interior improvements, and lead their implementation. -
Technical Bridge Function
Provide technical interpretation during regular meetings with the headquarters engineering team, and translate technical documents such as specification sheets and test reports. -
Type Approval and Regulatory Compliance Support
Support compliance checks with Japanese safety standards under the Road Transport Vehicle Act, and prepare technical data required for subsidy applications.
Requirements
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in design, development, or testing at an automotive manufacturer or parts manufacturer
Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle structures, especially chassis and powertrain systems
Skills: Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, and prepare technical reports
License: Ordinary driver’s license required (medium or large vehicle license preferred)
Preferred
Experience in vehicle planning or chassis design for commercial vehicles such as trucks or buses
Knowledge of EV / high-voltage systems and battery control
Practical knowledge of Japanese automotive safety standards and type approval certification
Certified automotive mechanic qualification (Level 2 or above)
Profile
Candidates with experience working in the development division of a domestic automobile manufacturer
